Casper is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Ashton as Casper’s first Chief Actuary reporting to Simon Sykes, COO. Simon joins from EY where he led and delivered several major pricing transformation projects and benchmarking assessments. He has extensive Lloyd’s experience with Arch and Brit in both pricing and reserving roles and prior to joining EY was the lead pricing actuary for VIBE.
Simon will be responsible for enhancing Casper’s pricing capabilities and the further development of its data infrastructure, MI and reporting. The recruitment of Casper’s first Chief Actuary demonstrates Casper commitment and investment to being the leading MGA for Specialty insurance in the London market.
