Casper obtains licence to expand in Europe

Casper GmbH will operate through a presence in Germany, where they have local IHK accreditation (an accreditation required for underwriters to operate in Germany – awarded by the appropriate local Chamber of Commerce).

This move marks the firm’s continued growth and expansion in capacity after Casper’s successful launch as a new casualty focused MGA earlier this year. Expanding into Europe is a particularly exciting prospect as Europe is targeted to represent around 20% of Casper’s overall GWP on a BAU basis and so is material to the firm’s objectives and aspirations.

The newly formed unit will also be able to operate from the UK via a UK branch which is an Appointed Representative of Pro MGA Solutions Limited.
